Program goal

With annual opportunities to meet with a growing Daoist arts family, this program is an invitation to promote balance, peace and harmony in your life.

The purpose of this program is to create communities of practitioners and high level Daoist arts teachers dedicated to the study of classical Chinese wisdom traditions.  Together, we support each other as we walk the Daoist path to deeper knowing and enlightenment. 

What is JingDao?

The Dao is wordless. We can only access the true wisdom of the Dao through our own personal cultivation practice and heartfelt life experiences. This course is designed to support participants walking the path of the Dao, who strive to know the Dao through Jing 經.

JingDao translates as “Living with the Dao.” The Chinese character Jing 經 also carries the meanings of JingLi 經歷 (walking through), JingYan 經驗 (experience), JingLun 經綸 (wisdom, knowledge), JingLuo  經絡 (meridians), JingLian 經煉 (refine),  JingTian 經天 (the Heavenly Way), JingDian 經典 (classics), and JingChang 經常 (constant). 

Curriculum

The curriculum for session 5, which is open for students who have completed sessions 1-4, includes:

• Review of Qigong forms from JingDao sessions 1-4
• Advanced Shamanic Cosmic Orbit Qigong
• Advanced Talisman Qi-healing methods
• Fushui 符水- Chinese Shamanic Energizing Water Qigong
• Spiritual Diagnosis and Remote Healing
• Yijing (IChing) 64 Hexagrams Divination
• Yijing healing and spiritual cultivation
